Engraving and Personalization
We offer many types of engraving for awards and commercial requirements.
Mechanical Engraving: This is used on Brass, Aluminum, Nickel, Stainless Steel, Copper, Silver, other metals and non-laserable plastics. Several engraving techniques can be used such as; Diamond Drag, Burnishing and Routing. We use standard engraving machine fonts and some True Type from the Windows font list. We can engrave round products up to 5" diameter but can not set up for small quantities. See Pantograph engraving below.
Laser Engraving: This engraving is used on Colored plaque plates in Aluminum or Brass. We have special Silver & Gold aluminum which lasers with a beautiful black etch! Lasering is also used on Plastic Signage & Name Badges, Wood, Marble, Acrylic, Leather and other materials. Some of these materials can be cut to custom shapes. Our Awards Industry lasers are CO2 based and not able to cut metal. All Windows fonts are available.
Printing: This process allows us to transfer pictures, logos & text onto White, Silver or Gold material. These colored Plaques, Medallions & plastics are stunning but the color laser printing used cannot guarantee exact pms color matches!
Sandblast Etching: This etching is primarily used on glass products. It can also be used on other materials. When engraving on some items is not an option sandblasting may be the answer.
Pantograph Engraving: This is a combination of mechanical & hand engraving. It is used for small quantities of small round items and many odd shaped pieces which cannot be jigged for the mechanical engraving systems. Round bowls up to 15" diameter can be engraved using this method.
Hot Stamping: This is also called Debossing. We use this on Leather and other similar items. Stamping can be in Gold, Silver, & other colors available on special order or just Blind stamped, leaving an uncolored impression. This is the best method for personalizing books or portfolios.
Hand Engraving: This is the way it was done before mechanical engraving became available. Artists use special tools to engrave your piece. It's expensive, but the only way of matching what was done in earlier generations!
